- Chee Hian is a seasoned expert in financial risk management and regulatory compliance, with over 18 years of experience in banking and technology solutions. Currently, he serves as a Manager in Business Solutions at SAS Institute, where he leverages his deep industry knowledge to support project implementation and pre-sales while providing critical feedback to enhance risk solution products for the research and development team. Prior to SAS, Chee Hian was a key figure at Kamakura Corporation, where he delivered presales support, implementation, and consulting services for Kamakura Risk Manager (KRM) solutions across the Asia Pacific. Before that, he served as an Assistant Manager at Standard Chartered Bank Singapore in the Capital and Liquidity Management division, where he managed Firm Data Submission Framework (FDSF) reports for the PRA, focusing on IRRBB and its impact on the Economic Value of Equity (EVE). Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant for a multinational corporation, implementing Basel RWA projects across Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and Australia. Chee Hian holds a Master’s in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore, a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from the University of Southern Queensland (2023), reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and diverse interests.
